INGRID GEERLINGS (b. 1972) graduated A+ in 1997 at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. During her career, she has won numerous awards and worked with respected conductors such as Valery Gergiev, Bernard Haitink, Reinbert de Leeuw, Vladimir Jurowsky, Jaap van Zweden and Barbara Hannigan. 

She is the principal flutist of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, LUDWIG and the Asko|Schönberg Ensemble and has performed as guest principal flutist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Chamber Music Orchestra of Europe, among others.

Geerlings is a professor at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. And this is her debut album.
