Masterclass is Nijland's 4th solo album. The album contains the songs from his same-titled theatershow and was recorded 'semi-live': in a proffessionial studio but with an audience. Nijland at the piano, accompanied by a band. As we know from Theo, the songs vary from light uptempo to sarcastic to pure instrumental, and even a classical minuet with lyrics.
